Wranglers
Lucie
Lucie is the owner of High Vibe Trail Rides and has been passionate about horses ever since she can remember. She grew up in a humble family and used to pray at night to please dream that she was riding so that way it was actually like she was doing it in real life. Well the Lord answered all of her prayers in a much bigger way than she could have ever imagined!! Lucie has now been buying, training, and selling horses for 15 years. She has owned, ridden, and sold thousands of horses all over the country. She’s a fearless and highly skilled rider who isn’t afraid of getting her hands dirty. In 2017 she decided to open up her trail rides to the public and share her favorite hobby with the world. Lucie is passionate about horses, meditation, and empowering others to become the best versions of themselves through self-love and self-development. Riding with her will not only teach you proper horseback riding etiquette but you’ll also learn how to deliberately create your own reality through your thoughts, words, and emotions!
Angel
Angel is our wild child - fearless and compassionate. She is always up for a challenge and loves galloping bareback. Angel started horseback riding when she moved in with Lucie three years ago and was immediately plunged into the world of everything horses. Currently working as a welder and snow board instructor, she grew up as a gymnast. That means that this dare devil loves preforming handstands and heel stretches from atop the horses’ backs. There’s no challenge too big for Angel. Although she may seem tough, Angel is a total sweetheart and has a soft spot for teaching children everything they need to know for a super safe experience. She gives lessons, takes out trail rides and is an excellent listener. We are very blessed to have her as part of the High Vibes team.
Maddy
Meet Maddy! She started riding horses with us as an 18 year-old guest and would drive over an hour by herself just to get some time in the saddle. She instantly fell head over heels in love with the horses and enrolled in our lesson program. Determined to learn it all, she was trotting, posting and cantering bareback in no time! After becoming a leaser and getting to know all of the horses and their personalities, it wasn’t long before she joined the team as an incredibly talented wrangler!! Maddy is hands down one of the most reliable team members who is always full of creative solutions. Maddy is kind & patient, which is why when she isn’t sitting on the back of a horse she is teaching a class full of preschool children. We are very blessed to have Maddy as part of our High Vibe team!!
Mike
Mike is one of our most sought after and requested wranglers as he is a one of a kind cowboy! Born & raised on a small horse farm in Tennessee, he started riding at age 6 and has never quit! Mike has ridden horses all over the country and has also ridden bulls in the rodeo!! Mike’s love of people & passion of horses is obvious wherever he goes. His positive energy and charming personality are contagious making every trail ride he takes out an unforgettable experience with lots of laughter & great story telling. Mike absolutely loves being out in nature, whether he’s sitting on a horse, hunting or fishing. As soon as we open our public horseback riding & hunting tours, he’ll be spearheading that program!
Kaitlin
Kaitlin is one of our rockstar wranglers who is a blast to ride with! She always has an amazing, positive attitude, happy to help wherever she is needed. Besides working as a wrangler at High Vibes, she also saves people’s lives on a regular basis working as a first responder in Ann Arbor! She has always been obsessed with horses since before can remember. She has owned horses since she was 12 and has been training and showing Quarter horses, warmbloods & thoroughbreds in English and western disciplines! If there’s one thing she knows how to do great, it’s how to get around a barrel! Kaitlin is fun & fearless! She loves meeting our guests, trail riding, training horses and galloping the new horses!
Bree
Bree grew up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and has been riding horses since before she could walk! She is passionate about everything horses - trail riding, training, ground manners, correct handling, you name it! She is an excellent teacher and loves passing down her knowledge of the equine sport through lessons. Bree has taught lessons for children as young as 2 years old all the way up to the more seasoned riders well into their 80's. She believes that there’s no better use of one’s time than on the back of a trusty steed. If it were up to her, she would ride a horse everyday over driving a vehicle.
Beth
Beth is a stay at home mom of 3 and when she’s not at home wrangling kiddos she’s here wrangling horses with us! Her love of horses started at 3 years old but it wasn’t until she graduated college that she got her first horse. Ten years later she’s now the proud owner of a small farm and 4 horses ranging in size from a miniature pony to an extra large Belgian draft horse. As an animal lover, she is extremely passionate about caring for the well being of horses and also loves sorting cattle for fun! Beth is a big advocate of mental health and a firm believer in making your own magic and pursuing whatever it is that makes your soul happy. Life’s too short to not follow your dreams, so get out there and make it happen! Beth believes that time spent in the saddle is time well spent and she enjoys sharing that experience with all of our guests!
Maggie
Maggie has been riding since she was 6 years old and absolutely loves spending time with animals. Horses have always been her passion and trail riding her favorite past time. She loves being able to share the gift & beauty of trail riding with all of our guests. When she’s not riding she’s either at the gym or spending time with loved ones. This fall Maggie plans to go to school for equine specialties to be able to share even more knowledge & expertise with all of our guests!
